NTLC™ is and has been involved with most every aspect of Preschool and Childcare Development Center operations ranging from initial concept to final site licensing and operation; grant research and development; training; Federal, State, Licensing and Funder review and evaluation preparation; community and self assessments; cost savings and more.   A few of the major projects are:

Working with a nationwide affordable housing agency to provide childcare development centers located on their sites for use by their clients and the local community.

Working with local community college to prepare preschoolers for their voyage through K-12 and beyond. The funding comes from a grant through First 5 California.

The initial Greening Operations Systems™ program was implemented program year 2007-2008 for an agency in Southern California. Each review and evaluation team member was provided with a LessPaperSystem™ VirtualDataBox™ on a secured Flash memory device which allowed them to effectively and efficiently find all applicable documentation without having to go to the old hard copy “BOX” or operational files which simplified the overall review process, saved time and reduced overall stress.

Training programs provided on a variety of topics ranging from Observation to Challenging Behavior to Monitoring Protocol Preparation to Management.  This includes preparation and evaluation for the Program Administration Scale (PAS), Environmental Rating Scales (ITERS, ECERS, SAERS), Federal Monitoring Protocol, State Categorical Program Monitoring (CPM), Licensing, and more.

Working with award winning artists and architects to bring fun, excitement, wonderment, and the thrill of discovery to early literacy through innovative design features embedded in the Serra Mesa Kearny Mesa Branch Library, San Diego, California.
